Yesssss!  I have referenced this case a couple times, first in “Government Officials Refusing to Allow Same-Sex Couples to Marry” and then in “Using Your Personal Beliefs to Deny Others Their Rights,” and I am so excited to announce that the federal judge ruled that Kim Davis has to issue same-sex marriage licenses.  You can read the story here.

Of course, this isn’t the end of the story because she’s appealing and anything could happen, but it’s still GREAT news.  It’s great to see a judge standing up for equal rights, and it’s affirming to see that someone values the separation of church and state.  I’ll be following this story closely, but for tonight, it feels like a win.  -mini fist pump-
